Terms

In effect since 19 August 2026.

Short, because the arrangement is short. the99 is a free tool run by one person. Use it, and these are the terms you are using it under.

What this is

A tool that reads which Magic: The Gathering Arena cards you own and works out which Brawl decks you can already build, ranked by how close you are to playing them. It is free and there is nothing to buy.

Your account

  • One person, one account. Keep the password to yourself.
  • Your upload key is a credential. Anyone holding it can write to your collection, so treat it like a password. You can revoke a key at any time from your account page.
  • You are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell me at hello@the99.cards if you think someone else is in it.

What you agree not to do

  • Scrape, mirror or hammer the site, or work around its rate limits.
  • Upload a collection that is not yours, or anything that is not an Arena collection.
  • Break into other people's accounts, or try to.
  • Use the suggestion box for abuse, spam or anything unlawful.

An account doing any of that can be suspended without warning. In practice you will get an email first, unless the account is actively causing harm.

The desktop uploader

The uploader is a separate open source program, licensed under the GPL v3, that runs on your machine. It reads the card list out of the running game and sends this site card numbers and quantities. You run it yourself and you can read its source. It is not made by or connected to Wizards of the Coast.

What is not promised

The site is provided as it is. It is one person's project on free hosting: it can be slow, it can be down, and it can lose data. Deck suggestions are built from public deck lists and from a substitution engine that is often useful and sometimes wrong. Nothing here is advice about how to spend wildcards, and no outcome in a game is promised.

To the extent the law allows it, there is no liability for any loss arising from using the site. If that limit is not enforceable where you live, liability is limited to the amount you have paid to use the site, which is nothing.

Wizards of the Coast

the99 is unofficial Fan Content permitted under the Wizards of the Coast Fan Content Policy. It is not approved or endorsed by Wizards. Portions of the materials used are property of Wizards of the Coast. © Wizards of the Coast LLC. Card images and card data come from Scryfall.

Ending it

You can stop using the site whenever you like and have everything deleted by writing to hello@the99.cards. See the privacy page for what that removes. The site itself may be shut down at some point; if that happens there will be notice by email to anyone holding an account.

Which law

These terms are governed by the law of Argentina, where the site is run from.

Changes

If these terms change, the date at the top changes with them, and anyone with an account is told by email before a material change takes effect.

Questions about any of this: hello@the99.cards. Or back to the site.
